Return to Life at this beautiful, eco-friendly high-end resort in the surf-friendly town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Every villa is steps away from the amenities, breakfast and dinner are included in your price, as well as twice-daily movement sessions, an arrival drink, 10% off all spa services, 10% off all activities, and ground transportation to and from the nearest airport.

Once your deposit is received and your room is chosen, you will be put in contact with the Florblanca Reservations to finalize your stay.

This retreat will be a Return to Life through thoughtful movement (daily Pilates and Zen Pilates with Betsy), local and organic cuisine, outdoor activities, fresh air, rest and relaxation, and a detachment from day to day grind. Nestled in a jungle environment steps from a beautiful beach, you will return to your life renewed and refreshed.

THE TRIP

It is best to fly into San Jose and then take the next short 30-minute flight to Tambor Airport.

The second flight should range somewhere between $130-$160

From Tambor, ground transportation will be provided to and from Florblanca, (you must arrive at Tambor before 3 p.m.). The transport to the resort is about 45 minutes (and worth it).

THE CUISINE

“Our Restaurant Nectar at Hotel Florblanca is laid back and elegant; an indoor/outdoor hangout for guests and locals wanting to dine, celebrate, or enjoy after a day at the beach.

The kitchen serves up fusion cuisine with Latin, Mediterranean, and Asian influences. The menu is built around seasonal ingredients with an emphasis on organic local produce, fresh seafood from the surrounding waters, and traditional favorites. From sushi to fish tacos, from salads to chocolate soufflé, our menu is varied and creative.

Our wine selection focuses on exciting South American varietals but also offers vintages from around the globe. Our friendly bar will create an original and exotic tropical cocktail or simply recreate your favorite drink.

In addition to the restaurant, you may dine poolside, beachside, the bar, or the poolside.”

THE Pilates

Each Morning there will be a rise n' shine Pilates with Betsy at the Shala overlooking the Ocean. Rise n' Shine Pilates will begin around 7:45 a.m. Evening Zen Pilates will be either on the beach, at the Shala, or in front of the surf house.

One of these Zen Pilates sessions will be a breath workshop on the beach. Rise n Shine Pilates will consist of a more classical Mat flow in combination with stretch therapy and Pilates breath work. Zen Pilates will be a very relaxed, heart-centered movement session with a therapeutic approach.
